7th Annual Big Buck Contest Rules

2009

Entry Fees-

 

            Adult Club member-$10

            Adult Non-Club member -$15  

            Youth Club member- $5      (17 yrs & younger)

            Youth Non-Club member -$10    (17 yrs & younger)

Jan. Archery Hunt is included in the Big Buck Contest.

·      Two Categories: Whitetail & Mule deer for both Adults & Youth will be held.

·      Tag must be attached to the antlers to show validity of this year’s harvest and legality.

·      If you do not have a cape, you need to provide one at your cost.

·      Deer will be measured by their racks according to the Boone & Crockett Guidelines with the exception of not having to wait the drying period. Bucks will be green scored. Top Five bucks in each category will be measured by an official measurer if need be. Deer will be measured by Max Hinton- Hinton Taxidermy- please contact and make arrangements with Max to have your deer measured. Only one deer per contestant can qualify for top five.

·         First place: - Deer mounted for free or Gift Certificate

·         Second Place: $75 Gift Certificate

·         Third Place:  $50 Gift Certificate
