Mission Statement
The mission of the South Eastern Arizona Sportsmen Club is to be involved in conservation of wildlife, habitat enhancements, and conservation of our natural resources. We endeavor to educate our membership and the public on conservation issues and firearm safety. We support and defend the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution. We promote fund raising events and organize recreational activities for outdoor enthusiasts to support our conservation efforts, while promoting sportsmanship to enhance the local wildlife populations. |

Club Goals

"Be a Voice"- Stand up and be a voice to be heard for what we believe in as outdoors men and women, right to bear arms, support for our wildlife and their management.

"Youth & Family Program"-Create a special program for families while focusing on youth to encourage everyone to get involved in the outdoors

"Education"-To educate ourselves and the public about our hunting and fishing heritage. To conduct Hunter Education classes, hold meetings and seminars to further our understanding of the outdoors

"Habitat Improvement"-To be actively involved in improving the habitat in the local areas in which we hunt, fish, camp and experience other types of outdoor recreational activities |

Special Recognition/Key Accomplishments
- The SEAZSC achieved the "Award of Excellence" from the Arizona Game & Fish Department for their contributions to the environment and habitat improvement activities during 2005
- SEAZSC President Scott Heap was also awarded the 2005 "Volunteer of the Year" by the Arizona Game & Fish Department for his leadership
- Club member Chad Kelliher was awarded 2006 "Youth Environmentalist of the Year" by the Arizona Game & Fish Department
- In November 2006, club members participated in the relocation of Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep from the Morenci Mine to a remote area of the state
- Replacement of water catchment #909 in the Black Hills west of Duncan (February 13-18, 2007)
- Gould's turkey releases on Mt. Graham
- Fencing upgrade in Unit #32 for antelope
- Pinion and juniper thinning project on 4-Bar Mesa of Unit #27
- Peters Tank and Mannes Peak water catchment upgrades
- Big Lake fence removal project with the Arizona Elk Society in May 2007
- Trash cleanups in Units #32 and #36
